Some of the basic tools you need to repair your tires the following:

• Tire jack – It is a must that you keep a tire jack handy in your trunk. This is the tool you will use to lift your car in case you find a leak in your tire or in case it blows out.
• Lug nut wrench – You need this tool to loosen and tighten the screws of your tires
• Bottle of soapy water – This simple homemade solution can come in handy when you have to check for slow leaks in your tires. Bubbles will form in the location of the leak.
• Instruction manual –No one is born an expert. Before you are able to repair your tires, or use any tire repair tools correctly, you have to go through some education and that includes practical and theoretical means. It is always good to have an instruction manual in tow so you have something to consult in case you forget what to do or how to do things right.
