When people use Fiestaware dishes in the dining parties and other occasions, they will be able to get you a popular name, just for serving with them or for using them. However, they might get chipped off in some vulnerable points and during those times, we will not be able to use them for our needs. People, who find that their fiestaware dishes are damaged, will just get rid of it and buy a set of new dishes. On the contrary, we should remember that they can be fixed if their damages are very small and only in certain places.

There are a few well known methods to fix damaged fiestaware dishes and they may be discussed in detail;

In order to fix them, we need to clean them well and dry them with paper napkins or towel. By keeping them dry, we will be able to fix them better. Then, we will need to have a nice and spacious workplace to fix the dishes properly. As we need a completely free workspace for working on the dishes, we will need to make suitable arrangements beforehand. After these arrangements we will need to keep a two – part epoxy type putty for fixing the dishes and they are being sold in all local hobby shops. By cutting the required amount of putty for our repairs, we can set to work. We need to have all the chipped pieces with us; by filling the gap between the chip and the dish with putty, we will be able to attach them both together. Use sharp pins and wet cloth to smooth the putty fillings.

Allow it to settle for a few hours and then we can sand the dishes for removing the excess dried putty on the dishes. All which remains is the paint; choose a bright coloured paint and apply it to the dish evenly.
