In order to keep the water and insides of the pool clean, we will need to place filters all over the pool corners and base. The main principle behind the filters is to eliminate algae, dirt and debris of rocks and so on from entering the pool we use. The water filters need to be obtained through genuine forms and should be installed perfectly, for the proper filtration of the water entering the pool. While installing an above ground pool filter, we will need to make sure that we follow a set of special guidelines for the same. Following the common rules as follows will help us in maintaining the pool water to be clean and clear.
We need to disconnect the power supply to the motors and other related devices in the above ground pools before even considering the possibility of installing the filter. The above ground pool filters will need to be placed at a distance of about two feet from the pool water pumping system in order to avoid excessive force on the filter cabinet. Also the above ground pool filter needs to be placed two feet away from the sidewall of the pool so that the filter is near the return jet of the pool valve.
After this, we need to make use of levelling tools for making the pool free of stones and underground dirt. When we have finished these steps, all we need to do is to connect the pool’s water pumping system to the filter. The general connection methods will be to connect the outlet valve of the filter to the return jet and the inlet valve of the filter to the pool’s outlet valve, with at least a pair of three foot tool-hose pipe of sturdy quality. By referring to the user manual given with the pool kit, we can attach the pipe with hose clamps and flat head screws to tighten the same to the clamp. After this, we can start using the pool immediately.
