You would need to remember if you have been taking any kind of medication prior your knowledge of your pregnancy. This may be the time when you have already adjusted to the changes in your body. By now, you will have a better feel on the growing baby bump. You would also begin to wonder if you will be having a girl or a boy.

The embryo will begin to take a human shape while you are 9 weeks pregnant. It is still part of the development period and there are still a number of things that would need to be given time to form. There will be a small ear that is beginning to form on the sides of the head during this period. The eyelids and the tip of the nose will become more visible at this time as well. In earlier weeks, the baby’s spine has formed on the outside. However, as they reach the ninth week, this have almost disappeared and have been bedded within the muscles to conceal it. In a few weeks, the child’s genitals will be fully developed and you will be able to know about it through an ultrasound.
